Some CT scans require the injection of a contrast material that allows you to see your organs and possible abnormalities more clearly.
Almost every part of your body can be seen in a CT scan:

- the abdomen
- pelvic region
- small intestine
- colon
- soft tissue
- blood vessels
Here is the procedure, we will ask you :
Depending on the examination prescribed by your health care professional, you may be injected with a contrast agent. The list of these agents will be indicated to you when you make your appointment. If you think you may be allergic, please notify our technologist.
In order to accommodate you, please note that the total time of your visit may vary between 30 and 60 minutes, although the actual exam will only last between 5 and 25 minutes.
A medical prescription is required for this examination.
